Chris Martin – Percussion

Born in Quebec but with solid Newfie blood lines, Chris was a problem child. Moving from one military base to another throughout his childhood, Chris found himself in…. “ahem” ….conflict on a regular basis. Chris spent the better part of his youth partying and playing drums.

After a few years in Toronto living the high life, Chris settled in Calgary where he met his lovely wife Michele, went to college, sold his drums, got married, had two awesome kids and settled down. When midlife hit, Chris bought a fast car, an acreage, built a studio and started playing drums again. The rest is history. Go Pigs.

Age when I started playing – 16
Favorite song we perform – “Long Way To The Top” by AC/DC.  Always loved that song but never thought I’d get to play it with a live Bagpiper.

Best tip for musicians just starting out – Don’t give up. Life is long and you never know what great musicians you’ll get to play with.
